~New Weapon Designing Ideas (with pics)!

~Well i was bored this afternoon so i decided to make these weapons as new suggestions for TW3:

1-3:3 types of hand gun.

4-6:3 types of shotgun.

7-9:3 types of sniper.

10-12:3 types of flamethrower(i know,the 13 looks like a hairdryer).

13-15:3 types of missile launcher.


Note:Each weapon has the prototype model and 2 upgrades.

I`m not sure about the Flamethrower. It`s a definite hit with no misses.

The Sniper is already in TWO, but I think there COULD be an interesting option ingame so you can customize the look, these could be options.

Same with Missile Launchers. Simply the Rocket with a customizable look.

The shotgun, although I doubt it will go in, COULD do about, 30ish damage, and for the head, 50-70ish damage?

The handgun is just a no.

I'm pretty sure shawn was considering the handgun a while ago, we even got a picture of what the icon would look like in the weapon select tray.

You like the completely overpowered shotgun but adding a handgun, which could greatly improve gameplay for the better is bad?

No, I dislike both.

Paralyzer (corny name i know, i cannot think of anything else):

Type: poison, gun

What it does: Shoots a poisoned needle into the enemy and every step the enemy takes from then on results in a slight drain of his life points. OR as electric suggested, it can stop the player for moving the next 2 turns, hence the name of the gun.

Number of uses per game: Once, and can only be used for 4 on 4, 5 on 5, and 6 on 6 battles



This is my first time drawing guns, so sorry about the lame drawing.

I like the idea but how about instead of it taking health points away from each step it paralyzes that specific player it shot for 2 turns?

Shotguns do more damage when aimed at the body (the chest mainly), so this damage scale wouldn't work.

I don't know why, maybe not these exact weapons, but the overall idea of upgrading on the same weapons i actually like.

I just think they take away from the actual gameplay in a negative way. A paralyzing weapon (even a taser imo) doesn't fit in with grenades, guns, and rocket launchers.

It's not really a paralyzing weapon, but if we have just those types weapons in the next game, it would be kinda the same.  But it all depends on afro

But i see what you mean, it just doesnt fit in with the traditional TWO gameplay

We don't want too many weapons on TWO. That'll take the fun away from it and make it too complicated. But good ideas. I think you mean number 12 looks like a flamethrower, not 13. xD

Smoke bomb: Fairly straight forward. Toss this grenade near YOUR troops to cover their movements for either 2-3 turns that only you can see. The range is fairly wide (400px diameter). Only 1, so use wisely.

Sticky/bunker busting bomb: Im sure an idea like this has had to have been thrown around by now. The end (ball) of this grenade has a extremely sticky surface that will stick to any structure or character. This grenade has a structural pierce effect, meaning it will go through about 50 px of structural material with ease. When on a character however its the same damage as any normal grenade (45 somewhat percent). Only 1.

How bout this, a poison dart that if hits, does 1 damage to a player every single turn. only one in a 5 vs 5 game and up. Would help force poisoned campers out ;D. lol . . . i know it's a different idea. I just wana hear all your negative comments <.< maybe some positive if I'm lucky.
