Arts are something that should be studied in one's own time and not in an Academic Institution such as University or College. High School is fine though.

"Arts student: An individual who is a member of the art or humanities faculty of an university.
These students have little work, as they are merely a government ploy to boost university figures by introducing "dumbing down policys". Arts student are generally hated by all and career paths generally involve a paper hat and fast food."

Weird, that doesn't apply to me. Must've gotten that definition from an unreliable source

1) It's a very reliable source
2) It doesn't apply to you because you aren't in university.

Re: [WEAPON] Sniper Rifle

This is way off topic but I have to comment. This type of thinking is close minded and conservative at best. At worst it's ignorant and childish. Literature is one of the most respected arts and it makes the world go round. Without editors, journalists, authors, etc, you have no news, no information exchange, no fictional works. You would be left with bloggers talking about their dog.

What about the movies you watch? Acting, directing, script writing, character design, costume design, costume creation, make up, special effect, comedic timing, all under the studies of art.

Art if not only painting and drawing, it's history. It's religion. It's everything we've been and everything we're going to be. Some of the greatest works of art are tied in with the largest religions, who in turn whether you like them or not, shaped the course of history. To know art is to know events that have unfolded throughout the years.

Out of home media, advertising, creative design, logos for corporations, architecture, interior and exterior design, even the cards you buy for your loved one on Valentine's Day had to be designed by someone.

Automobile and motorcycle fabrication, body work customization, all art and engineering coming together.

Comic books, novels, cartoons, Japanese manga and anime.

Commercial jingles, music production, classical composition, pop bands, dancing, Broadway, need I go further?

Everything you read, everything you watch, everything you listen to, everything you buy, every game you play, everything that entertains you has been created, composed, designed, acted out, or directed by someone who has artistic talent.

This in no way is meant to sound like mathematics, philosophy, health and medicine, or engineering are any better or less walks of life than art. They are all worthwhile and needed in our everyday life. What we don't need is people drawing lines in the sand, saying education of any kind is worthless. You might as well go book burning. When we keep people, ideas, or thoughts segregated, we're taking the lazy and selfish way out. When people come together, when ideas come together, when art and engineering or music and visual arts come together, that is when shit gets done.

Anybody who says anything different should just close their account right now and not bother trying to counter this post because you're talking crap on a forum for a game that someone created through their artistic and computer processing talent.

Re: [WEAPON] Sniper Rifle

Engineering/math/science bias against liberal arts makes me cringe in general, but the idea of it is exacerbated by a general lesser level of competence in colleges when it comes to liberal arts.  That's not to say that everyone in liberal arts is incompetent, because they aren't.  But there are far more liberal arts people than there are e/m/s people, and if you pick a random liberal arts person, you're more likely to get an incompetent person than you are if you pick a random e/m/s person.

Basically, if you're not very good at anything and you don't have any idea what you want to do, go into liberal arts and BS your way through college with mediocre grades rather than go into e/m/s and fail out of school.  Aka correlation but not causation.

If my definitive answer (cause I'm awesome like that) isn't good enough to finish this discussion then please continue in ROTDT.  I'll leave this open; somebody might conceivably have something to say about a sniper rifle.

Re: [WEAPON] Sniper Rifle

Yeah I agree art school isn't likely to land you a career, but it's not useless. Someone who's interested in painting can take classes to help better their understanding and talent, and do other things for a living.

And I really hate the whole idea that "if it won't make you money, there's no point." A true artist doesn't do it for the money. I'm sure there are many poor artists that lead more fulfilling lives than people who work 8 hours a day sitting in an office and make 50,000 dollars a year.

Art school can be great for people that already have a career too, and wish to go later in life.

I agree though, that you shouldn't put all your hope into landing a full time job as an artist, unless you are extremely talented. If that's the case, you probably don't need to go to school for it anyway.

Long story short, go for the experience, not because it will land you a job.

Yes, i'm thinking 6 ammo max (in a 6 vs 6) if it's the same version as the normal rifle except it can go past the screen.  D:

Im scared that since there is a zoom in and out feature now, someone can use a ruler to aim anywhere on the map now ._.

6 ammo's too much, considering [if we had same weapons on Tw] we have limited impacts, and rockets

Re: [WEAPON] Sniper Rifle

One shot seems wayy too underpowered

I'd say 3 is perfect for 6v6, for a 4v4 it'd be... 2
