I have, as well as paint.net, neither stack up to photoshop.

They don't? How is photoshop better? I've never used it so I don't know what it's like, it's just like comparing blender to that other 3D software and they're close to the same, I guess photoshop's just more convenient

Twin, although that's true, 90% of photshop's features are those you will never use (or so I've heard).

@ Kai, paint.net doesn't even compare to photoshop (or even gimp).  Just consider it an MS paint on steroids.

I wanted reasons why, and I know, probably why gimp's free and photoshop's expensive, I just wanted to know why

Re: Stage maps (TWO)

Photoshop is industry standard, has a dedicated team working on it, and can do much more than gimp.

Re: Stage maps (TWO)

Photoshop has 10x the features gimp and paint.net have combined, not to mention in the features both have, photoshop takes the cake.

Re: Stage maps (TWO)

Well yeah, photoshop is known as the best software for editing or making images.

Twinfan wrote:

Why is every pirated photoshop I get totally useless? If anyone has the good form I can get without shelling out cash, it would be appreciated.

Twinfan, I got the registered pirated version of photoshop and it works perfect. I don't think I'm allowed to give you the link here, so we can talk on xat somewhen. Also, if you have the pirated version, you have to use it offline or you will be detected.

Re: Stage maps (TWO)

Are you planning to finish? I'd kind of like to see all the maps side by side.
