Re: I must know this angle.

Let me explain Rhine and mag's mocking laughter. This is not a new angle. If you have played anyone of moderate skill at Crystal Caverns over the last three years, you would have seen this auto used. If you had been paying attention to your opponent at all, you would have recognized this angle immediately as it is the most used in competitive TWO. The fact that you took a screenshot of the results without recognizing the angle yet begging to know it suggests you are:

Too lazy to find it yourself...it's a first turn full move nade, not hard to test...please

Too bad at visual recognition to identify the easiest angle to identify (arguable, but I bet most would agree with me that it's the most widely used due to its versatility)

Too much of a noob not to have encountered this angle before after 2000 games or however many you've played, and assume it is anything other than common knowledge. I've forgotten over half the angles I used to know but I still remember this one because it's easy as fuck

In conclusion you're a fag go fuck yourself 57 keep the bj leave us alone for a while

I typically don't throw -57 degree grenades at all. I really never did, until you showed how to land grenades easily.

Re: I must know this angle.

Hi there, no one answered your question on this post, so let me do it for you?
Angle: -57 with player one walk as far as he can go and 100% power. The answer could be useful to a noob who understands that this is clearly an angle 57 shot but not a full powered one.

Angle up... Hold A... BOOM!

There are a bunch, but yeah most are full power and no noob is going to assume it's anything less than full power once they learn an angle.

Re: I must know this angle.

Like what? I consider autos to be different from "ok stand right about here and throw at this angle at about 3/4 power to hit this general area" in that they produce a specific result and you can hit them at least 80% of the time. Full power remains the only real measurement imho, unless you include zero power in which case lol

Re: I must know this angle.

I'd define an auto as any shot that produces a specific result and has specific measurements for footing and power. I think the most obvious measurements for power are full power and zero power, but they're definitely not the only ones. The TWO power bar is surrounded by a styled background, and it just so happens that there is discoloration at specific points around the bar that act as measurements for power. Because the power bar moves in specific increments and can only stop on those specific increments (not in between), if you use certain background discolorations as reference, you can measure power based on how close it is to full power versus how close it is to the reference point (i.e. 1 notch above the reference point or 1 notch below full power). Like so:

http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab29/97SNM2010/powerbar1.png             http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab29/97SNM2010/powerbar2.png

On the right, I've marked in red the two references I used in TWO based on the discoloration around the power bar. I've also (roughly) marked in yellow the only two possible increments between the topmost reference point and full power.

I have one auto in mind that uses less than full power and results in a predictable auto kill that I used in TWO at Island for left side. I found a regular (full power) auto that killed Player3 and knocked Player2 underneath Player5:

http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab29/97SNM2010/autopic1.png
http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab29/97SNM2010/autopic2.png
http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab29/97SNM2010/autopic3.png

These days, the full power result is pretty common, and any good player knows some variation of that shot (since there are so many different ways of accomplishing it). The main reason I chose my way over others was because I knew that even if I barely missed full power, I would still get an auto-kill out of it. I considered it a sort of backup auto for that reason.

There are others that require one or two notches under full power, but usually only the most elite of players have any knowledge of them or even the patience to learn and master them.
