RIP Skye (1982-2015)

So I found out that Skye Boyes, founder of XGen, just passed away this past Monday. If it weren't for him, this community, and quite a few others, would not exist. It's a cliche, sure, but he made far more than games. He made places that connected people who would never have known each other. In his short 33 years, he accomplished far more than most, and we owe him our respect.

Never knew him personally, but I'm pretty bummed to hear this, RIP.

If the Ottoman empire begins existing again they may have a chance.

Now that the Cubs are officially out as they've always done, let's not forget that we have a wager about the Bulls,  Spartan.

Do you really think it's appropriate to post this in a thread about someone dying? Honestly not trying to be a dick, but really, it's somewhat offensive and it doesn't even make sense when there's other threads for this.

Solid and concise obituary Mystery. Xgen studios introduced me to the Territory War games, which I've played far more than many of the console games I own, and which would in turn introduce me to the weird world of this site, clans, and internet culture as a whole. I wish I could say more about Xgen specifically but it's influence on me is mainly through introducing me to the things I already mentioned. Right off the top of my head though, Stick Arena, Boxhead, and Stick RPG were all unusually good flash games that I spent a decent amount of time on.

It's only preseason, but they are playing really well. They are playing really unselfish, everyone is getting a chance to play. Most importantly they look like a more healthier team. It would not surprise me, and I don't think it would surprise anyone here if they won the Finals. Sure it won't be easy, but The Bulls were a couple of good refs, and bad calls away from getting to the Finals last year.

I was claning for stick arena. If I remember correctly, that's why I accidentally got sucked into the world of TWO. Thanks Xgen, all of ur games were fun! Xgen and Newgrounds were my sites to fly to the second I got home from middle school. Good times.

It's still very hard to believe. So much appreciation for Skye and what he created.
