So you guys might remember that I posted a little while back about some new stuff I was working on. Well, one project was client work for a company in California. We've encountered some... creative differences in the project so I will be handing over the files to them so they can continue to work on it and we can go our separate ways.
I've had a secondary project in the works now, and I will continue to work on it, but the scope of the game is too large to be profitable for the time being (still needs a lot of work before it could generate revenue, I can't afford to work on it full-time)
SO, enter project #3- an rpg/dungeon crawler that I started up with pox a few months ago.
The game is much smaller in scope, and we're actually pretty far along on it already.
Our initial target is mobile, but we plan to expand to pc/mac later on, maybe even through steam.
This might actually be more appealing to you guys considering it retains the turn-based battle element from Territory War.
I mean, it's all pretty standard rpg stuff, so I don't want to get your hopes up, but I will say there is a big emphasis on building and customizing your team to work through the dungeon.
Each time your team dies they run away, so it's up to you to hire new adventurers, buy new equipment, try a different strategy, etc.
The name isn't official, and we may be working with a publisher on it, so I will wait to hear back from them until I mention any more details.
Ah sweet, reminds me of hands of war a little.
I see that you and Pox will create Cano art for this but not for TW3.
You unlock classes in the game by upgrading the look of your tavern, and by purchasing new sodas for it.
At first the classes just become stronger, but eventually it becomes more about the skills they possess.
The fighter class has a special move that does heavy damage to a single target, but the conjurer class has a bolt skill that hits all enemies on the screen. The conjurer is also weaker, but can hold two items. Again, fairly standard rpg stuff, but we've been trying to focus on unique skill and item combinations that result in very different ways to play through the dungeon.
At least that's the goal, it's hard to tell until we get testers on board, but that's not for a little while yet.
Nice. Looks fun. Keep us updated.
On the first picture I'm having a hard time figuring out what that squid on fire thing the soldier's holding? Looks like it's supposed to be a shield of some sort
will there be autokills ?
lol puri ^^^
OK I'll admit it, this account is done. But I will say this.
If Rose and Noah never got hurt, then we would have won a championship. True fans know what I'm talking about.
Lol Rose being hurt is a constant and to be expected so no, don't blame it on the man of glass for being made of glass.
Went to the Bulls Raptors game yesterday. The stadium was very energized, it was a good win!
Oooo looks like fun!
Been a good game so far, if we can win, I'll be on this forum for at least the next 30 hours.
